All, I made a boo boo trying to figure out how to remove the Save As icon (not the most intuitive process). Now things are messed up. I read that if I delete the profile, that the defaults would be restored. Tried, didn't happen. Guess the menus and tool bar options are stored somewhere else.

Hi :) On Ubuntu 12.04 and LO 3.5.4 i followed the advice for Windows but instead of having a tick-box or such-like i had to use the Modify button and then Delete was about the bottom choice. So Josh's advice worked well enough for me. Only thing was that after getting rid of the Save and Save As

Hi Dave, I'm on Windows, not Ubuntu, but if you right-click the menu toolbar (or select View Toolbars Customize from the menu) it will open a window where you can check and uncheck the icons you want in each toolbar. There is also a Reset button there that will put all the default icons
