Merge fields are only the beginning. I found those. What I need is the
ability to use code to do things with the data in the mail merge. I found
conditional fields. But that isn't enough yet. I need to be able to do
things like I described in the first post. Also, based upon the value of a
field,
I am VP of a rocketry club. I'm trying to convert my WordPerfect files to
Libre Office. I've automated a lot of functions with WordPerfect's merge
codes. I am trying to find similar functionality in Lebre Office.
For those who don't know what WordPerfect merge codes are I'll attempt to
explain.
