Full clean install did not fix the problem. The exception apparently occurs
in MSVCR90.DLL, the Visual C++ 2008 runtime library. The version of that
DLL is different between my 32-bit WinXP system and the 64-bit Win7 AMD
system, which might explain why it's not failing on the Win7. It looks

I have some spreadsheets with embedded links to HTML web page data, and in
3.4.0 (to which I just upgraded) they cause Calc to crash when I open the
spreadsheet and they try to update. I can recreate this bug with apparently
any link to a web page, just by opening a blank spreadsheet, selecting

I was able to try this on a different system, Win 7 64-bit, and there was no
crash. I'll try a clean uninstall/reinstall on the XP system, and see if I
can correct the problem.
