Thanks. I did a search on the bugzilla database and found that this bug was already filed a few days ago by a number of users. It affects Windows as well as Linux. Latest news is that a fix will be available in LO 5.0.2 -- View this message in context:

Graphics: AMD Sapphire HD5450, latest driver Windows 7 Pro, all available updates installed The tab icon in the upper left where you switch tabs does not refresh after click, so it gets messed up. I have to switch to another window and back to see which kind of tab is currently active. A bug?
