Yes it was an oft requested UI feature its Expert configuration
"ShowCurrentModuleOnly" was added at the 7.6 release.
At the 24.8 release it was enabled by default. It can be edited false
via Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> "Open Expert Configuration", search
for the string

this seems to be the case. I have used a legacy version on debian for some time
and just grabbed 25.2.5.2 which does show a focussed list. Hopefully this is
configurable.

I am using LO 25.2.4.3 on Windows 11. I also use LO 25.2.3.2 on a Mac running
Sequoia.
When I use LO, I often bounce back and forth between Writer, Impress, and Calc.
I recently noticed that, when I click on the list of
recent files is limited to whatever module I am in. If I'm in Calc, the li
