1. Run from a terminal is good advice but it is not immediately obvious
how to do that. How do you get to a useful terminal / command-line in
Fedora?
Typically it is something like, go to the top taskbar (or bottom one if
there is only 1) and click on the equivalent of the Start button

The question doesn't seem to have reached the lists yet so i think you need
to complete the subscription to the mailing list. There is possibly a mail
in your inbox (or perhaps junk folder if you are unlucky) that might help.
I'm not familiar enough with Fedora to be able to help much.
