Greetings,
I am trying to run the macro from the LibreOffice 3.4 Writer Guide, page 293, "Note: To re-enable updating from a template:". However, every time I try to run it, I get a security message saying I can't do that. I even used the Tools -> Options -> Security -> Macro Security... -> Low (not recommended) to try to unlock this, to no avail.
What is the secret to allowing local macros to execute?

If any of the developers are listening, IMHO this is something that should be done other than requiring the user to write and execute a macro. There should be a radio button in Writer, possibly in document properties, to re-enable updating from a template without going through this complex process.
