[libreoffice-users] Business cards
Just enquiring, can one instead of writing 4 business cards on one page, (where they are all the same), creating each one differently but on the same page? You can look through the list, whether a predefined size and layout exists, but it is likely, that you need to define your own card size and page layout manually. Don't worry, it is easy to do. [libreoffice-users] Inconveniences of time format
Hi I've got a column in calc 4.3.2.2 to contain the length of video clips; it's formatted to Time>876613:37:46. The first inconvenience is that, when using autoincrement the times are incremented not by 1 second but by 24 hours. Whilst i understand that this is due to the way date/time is stored, with the date as integer and the time as fraction, i think it is not exactly intuitive. I feel that it might be much more convenient if LO would take the formatting into account and increment by 1 second (or, to be more precise, by 1 LSD to the chosen format). Similarly, when entering such times i think it would be more helpful to give precedence to the LSD, so entering 8, for example, would be interpreted as 8 seconds (rather than 8 hours as is cuŕrently the case) and 8:40 as 8m40s. Again, this interpretation should be format dependent. What does anyone else think? And then send it back to MS Office in ODF from LibreOffice--not the filter based export to OOXML. ODF is the standard supported, not OOXML (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx) Once back in MS Office save to OOXML if you need to exchange with other MS Office users. Try it, you'll find it functional that way. Less so if you try to send OOXML back and forth. -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Compatibility-tp4164384p4164901.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

Turn off the hardware acceleration. Tools -> Options -> View: Graphics Output Turn off hardware acceleration. Won't matter on a fast system, but will have smother transitions--and, depending on your GPU and driver some of the OpenGL transistions may not work. -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Bug-in-5-0-2-Impress-tp4164896p4164898.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

[libreoffice-users] **Bug** in 5.0.2 Impress
Just recently upgraded to 5.0.2 from 4.4.? and presentations that I created in 4.4.? which had Fade-in slide animations are plagued with a slide flicker. The flicker is a split second flash of the previous slide at the end of the transition. This makes it completely unusable. I thought it might be an issue with incompatibility between the older version fade-in and the newer one, so I removed the fade-in slide transition from the original and re-created the transition with the new version FadeSmoothly. The new version has the same problem.I have tested many of the transitions and the flicker appears using Fine Dissolve, Fade Through Black, Fade Smoothly, Rochade, Turn around, Turn down– there maybe others that I have not tested but these are for sure. Has anyone else seen this problem? -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
