That's not the issue. One I get the slope and intercept right I'll
worry about R^2. It's less important to me right now.

If I use a small amount (3 pairs) of dummy information, the intercept,
slope and R^2 are exactly what I expect them to be. If I use something
on the order of 400 pairs it makes no sense at all. When I use Linest,
the results are reasonable.

I use LibreOffice 3.5.3.2 and the samples are present.
Perhaps it is a problem with the installation or the package?

I reduced the example complexity a lot. Now it doesn't have anything to
do with a given sample document, it is easy to reproduce with a new
document. The problem occurs when the second column has split cells; it
might be then a bug in the software (at least I see it as a bug), I will

Thanks Brian and Tom
As Brian Points out, the problem is about a Table column in Writer.
You are correct: I discovered that the problem doesn't happen width the
third "path" of doing things: click and drag. That's weird, because I
would expect different ways of doing the same thing to behave in
Hi :)
The first step in each is probably the problem. Try clicking outside the table
or into a cell that doesn't border on where you are making the change and then
drag the boundary.

You can download original sources and Debian patchset from
http://packages.debian.org/sid/libreoffice (look at the right side of page).

I've been using Libreoffice, and OpenOffice before it, on ARM for many
years. You can get it from debian or ubuntu repositories. I presume the
sources are there too (?). It generally works very well and is as stable
as the i386 versions. Unfortunately -base broke some years back and has

Hi :)
It sounds as though LibreOffice-Arm is not ready yet. Apparently it is not yet
compiled and alpha-tested in Ubuntu. Even tho Debian and Ubuntu are in the
same family Debian programs do not always work well in Ubuntu.
As with most programs it is written for keyboard and mouse. You migh
Hi :)
Most programs have not yet had touch-screen functionality added. It is not
just LibreOffice that is behind. Most OSes that claim to be fully-touchscreen
are still having problems. Ubuntu has probably ironed-out more problems than
most but it does take programmers time to write code to d
