Correction: RANK() does not have this problem however I cannot use it without
making a copy of the data that I'm attempting to rank since it is actually in
several disjoint ranges and each call to RANK() must find the value or else an
error is reported. COUNTIF() does not have this restriction.

Smart! I was going to suggest using Gimp's (or Photoshop's) "Colour picker"
but getting it directly from an html document might be a lot faster and
reliable and easier to figure out quickly.

I'm using LibreOffice 4.0.3.3 on Windows, and have a file that will crash

When I open the file, either by double-clicking it in the windows file
explorer or with the File->Open menu in LibreOffice, a window open, I can
see the loading bar on the bottom and it close.
