Good evening I (and other people all over the net) have brought up this before. So, please bear with me ... I would like the cursor to be upon opening documents where it was, when I left the document. Now I found in the LibreOffice documentation the following (took very long!):

You simply need to set some user detail for your profile. Done from Tools - Options - User Data panel and set a minimum of the First/Last Name/Initials fields. On builds 4.4.3.2, 0n your first edit/save of the document, you will establish a new edit point. Document will reopen to that point.
