Are you sure you closed LibreOffice and the Quickstarter before deleting the profile? How do I get rid of the Save As icon as it is not needed, and confusing (steps 1, 2, 3, ...)? 1. Click the down-arrow at the right end of the Standard toolbar and choose Visible Buttons . 2. Click Save As... to toggle the button on or off. 3. Er, twiddle your thumbs? I trust this helps. Josh, This is a new install, so there was nothing in the profile that really mattered. Otherwise, I completely agree with your comments. Re: [libreoffice-users] Restoring default menus and tool bars
Mystery solved! After Googling a little more, I found this nugget: http://ccm.net/faq/24703-libreoffice-calc-reset-settings-to-default I did fail to mention that I was working with Calc at the time - sorry So, when I'm done, I'll follow the advice given to rid the tool bar of the Save As icon.
