And if you have enought space in your hard disk, you can install Xubuntu
or Linux Mint on the same hard disk, with dual boot and keep your xp
system if you already need it.

Yes, Linux in general uses less resources than Win (it is also more safe and
doesn't require security software e.g. antivirus). For older machines you can
use LXDE (Lx desktop environment such as the Lubuntu distro); it requires just
70 MB of ram.

Hello.
Whenever I install, upgrade or uninstall LibreOffice, it removes
Liberation Mono from the system until the next reboot. Is this a normal
behavior?
