[libreoffice-users] From field in mail merge emails
Hi all, So I've finally got mail merge emails working but have one last (hopefully) problem. I can't seem to change the name the recipient sees when they receive the email. I go into Tools/Options/LibreOffice Writer/Mail Merge Email. I change Your Name and hit okay (tried apply as well). But when I go back in Your Name has reset to what was there before. [libreoffice-users] Writer slow display
Good evening I believe I have asked this before. Currently running Windows 10 machine and LibreOffice 7.2.5.2 - just updated from 7.1.8 .. Typing in Writer the display of characters on the screen very annoyingly lacks behing my typing. It is definitely slower than in 7.1.8. As Mr. Großkopf suggested: did you try to disable Skia? (Options → LO → View → Graphics Output) Yes, I did disable that. With 7.1.8 the "display velocity" (if there is such a term) was acceptable, but with 7.2.5.2 it is VERY uncomfortable to work with Writer. Is there another trick that might speed up the display. By the way, in Calc I do not notice any annoying slowness. Thank you.
