This appears not to be a Linux specific issue. I can't speak for macOS
users, but it is definitely a problem with LO 6.0.1.1 on all of my WIN 7

office software.
Has anyone entered a bug report yet?

If I paste an image into a LO 5.3.1.2 document I see it as in the first

Yes, completely normal. When 5 was first developed, it was deemed
unnecessary to change/rename a users existing profile. For continuity,
new 5 installations also use 4 in the profile path.

* From the styles menu choose "New Style... Shift F11", or click the
"New Style" icon on the formatting toolbar (Usually to the left of
the font selection drop-down list.)
* In the dialog that opens, give the new style a name and click OK.
UPDATE: I was able to get the envelopes printed by creating my own
template and somehow the mail merge worked (don't ask me what I did -
don't recall).
Still, the envelope/mail merge process needs some serious improvement to
make it more straight forward and easier.

I used User/Custom size, 7.25"W x 5.25"H. What is displayed is not a
7.25" x 5.25" envelope. I need a detailed procedure to make this work.

Revising my previous message, I seem to recall that the response you
were referring to came directly to the mailing list, not via Nabble. In
that case you should lodge your objection with the users list moderators.

The "Report as inappropriate" option is a Nabble web interface function.
I think your request should be submitted the Nabble administrators,
rather than this list.

Yes, a simple typo. I have been bug hunting 5.3 beta for the past week
and the version number kind of
ius wants to tell me this is the technically correct
method of displaying/printing Endnotes. I don't care, I and my students
just want to make it go away.
TIA

Robert,
It appears that Base was not installed as part of the upgrade - odd!
So, my question is what components are needed? They are:
* Java runtime. Should not need as I have the 1.8 JDK, but...
* report-builder
* others?
