instead over 100 (example) localized 150Mb installers which would take 15
Gb.
The main problem is that removing all the extra languages only saves you
some 50Mb. Is this worth the trouble?

viewer (or even LO Draw) and then Copy the image, select the precisely
formatted image in LO Writer and simply Paste. This will replace the

I think it is not a good idea because the stable version is bit-for-bit
identical to RC2. So having RC2 in the version name would be confusing
for the stable version.
I'm aware of
suddenly pop-up on the devs list and demand they change
all their working practices they wont take it too kindly and may even
become hostile.
I'm also aware of that. That is why I unsubscribed from the Dev list. They
left it pretty clear that the Dev list is for Devs.

How do I know which version I have?
The About box says
LibreOffice 3.4.4
OOO340m1 (Build:401)
is this RC1 or RC2?
Can you please name the installers as e.g.
It's working perfectly under Win XP Pro SP3 running LibreOffice 3.4.4 Final

Thanks. I just found that out because I installed the Final version which is
the same as RC2 i.e. Build 402
But it wouldn't kill the Devs if they used a naming system that made sense
