I found solution - in dialog base that is appearing in menu Tools->Bibliographic Database we should press "Data Source" buttom and choose appropriate database In any case thank you - communication with you helped me. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

Could you please explain - how do you connect a documents to bibliography database? I can reproduce the problem in another computer. I just unregistered default bibliography database. And after that it is possible to get situation described by me in previous mail. It is possible to register bibliography database back but without functionality of "Tools->Bibliography Database" menu and without possibility to edit database using "Insert->Indexes and tables->Bibliography Entry" menu. [libreoffice-users] Debian-specific: Libreoffice 4.* unattended-upgrade doesnt work
Hello! My problem is: I'm using debian 6.*, 7.* and libreoffice 4.*. I am upgrading all libreoffice packets via unattended upgrade (without user interaction), but that doesnt work. Output of 'unattended-upgrade --debug --dry-run' command shows following lines: --- found pkg: libobasis4.4-core conffile line: '/opt/libreoffice4.4/./share/psprint/psprint.conf newconffile' found conffile '/opt/libreoffice4.4/./share/psprint/psprint.conf' in new pkg but on dpkg status tar: ./opt/libreoffice4.4/./share/psprint/psprint.conf: Не найден в архиве tar: Завершение работы с состоянием неисправности с из-за возникших ошибок В пакете libobasis4.4-core есть conffile с вводом от пользователя и его нужно обновлять вручную В пакете libobasis4.4-core есть conffile с вводом от пользователя и его нужно обновлять вручную --- My explanation: Libobasis-core package contains dot in conffiles section (psprint.conf). Unattended-upgrade uses tar utility for extracting conffile and comparing md5sum. But tar doesnt work with dots in path name. And upgrader wants to ask end user about replacing current conffile with empty one, and whole operation stops. I've manually removed dot in libreoffice4.4-core package, and everything seems to work as it should. Problem is not reproducable with default upgrade ways (apt-get upgrade, synaptics, etc.), it happens only with unattended-upgrade. Maybe removing dots in .deb versions of libreoffice could be a good way to solve this. How can I contact with Libreoffice debian maintainer to discuss this problem? By the way i have three file: biblio.dbf, biblio.dbt, biblio.odb. Which of them i should save with corresponding writer document? Bibliography stands for a dBase directory with one file biblio.dbf in a certain directory. In Writer or Calc hit F4. Right-click the existing Bibliography and choose Registered Databases. It opens the options dialog with a list of database documents registered under a certain name. The idea is that you can re-use any type of database or tabular files such as csv, spreadsheets, dBase directories by connecting a Base document to that data source you already have. Any registered Base document connected to any tabular data source can be used in the same ways as bibliographic database or as a source for serial letters, label printing or calculation models regardless of the exact type of source. So the main question is: Where do you store your bibliographic data right now? Then you may be able to connect a Base document to this data source. I have several documents and i want keep databases created from zerofor each of them. I want create new databases and keep them separately each from other. How i can do it? thats my main question. If i open main document should i connect bibliographic file every time than i do it? -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

[libreoffice-users] download libreoffice
MS Office. [English - sorry, but only Google translation] Very well that the site offers to download a new office, but the proposed method greatly harms the party politics. The fact that the requested download .deb packages and install them instead to create a repository of the same package. But the question arises: what are we, back to the methods of working on a computer taken from Windows? But if someone from the users of this method may seem more convenient, they may also remember that in Windows and other things are more convenient. Thus, we turn the hands of sympathy users face to Windows and back to alternative operating systems. In addition, they have a similar perception very quickly extrapolates from operating systems to office suites.
