Because [Esc] takes you back to the edit window, I think that the print dialog
is active but its position is out of visible bounds.
Alt+Space_Key might open the window-menu for the active but hidden dialog.
There you might find some way to move it by means of arrow keys. I don't use
Windows right now, so I can not test.

Hi :)
I think on Windows and on GnuLinux yiou can right-clcik on it's button (if it has one) in the
taskbar/panel (= that strip along the bottom of the screen in Xp that has the Start button
and the clock on it). If you right-click on the button there you get a choice to Move.
Don't press any key or button just move the mouse back into the screen. I found it almost impossible
not to left-click to drag.

It might be easier to change the resolution of the montior to something really
tiny and unreadable. That might make it easier to drag the window into the
right area and then reset your resolution. ;)
Good luck and regards from
Tom :)

Am I red-faced!
You are totally right about the invisible PRINT dialog: because I have 2
monitors (the 2nd one not being on all the time) the PRINT dialog was indeed
opening in the 2nd monitor which was not turned on at the time. I have now
placed the dialog on the main monitor.
So Thank you ,Andreas, and Tom , very much for pointing out that possibility
(and how to resolve it) which turned out to be right and for taking the time to
reply. Now I shall just write a 100 times : I will always check my second monitor

Cheers
Henri

Hi :)
Lol, i am sure we have all done similar things.  I am just impressed that
Andreas spots these things despite also being good with complicated answers.
Regards from
Tom :)
