[libreoffice-users] Re: MS Office MacIntosh to Libre Writer Windows
Hi Miroslaw I needed some delay to check what software my friend had used : it was Pages , and I was using LO 3.5 Thx to your advice, I've installed LO 3.6.4.3 and the problem has disappeared. I now can read the Mac docs. Thanks to you, and thx also to everybody that has spent time to reply Bruno From: Mirosław Zalewski [via Document Foundation Mail Archive] Sent: Tuesday, November 27, 2012 7:21 PM To: bsn Subject: Re: MS Office MacIntosh to Libre Writer Windows On 27/11/2012 at 18:47, bsn [hidden email] wrote: Recently a guy sent me a doc created on a Mac. Then you have encountered #53909 (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53909) This is fixed in LO 3.6.4-rc2, which will be released this week. Or you can wait until next week, when 3.6.4 will be officially released (it will be bit-by-bit identical to rc2, so I suggest downloading rc2 when it is ready). Or, if this is matter of life and death, you can downgrade to 3.5.4 (but not 3.5.5 or later). -- Best regards Mirosław Zalewski -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: [hidden email] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted If you reply to this email, your message will be added to the discussion below: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/MS-Office-MacIntosh-to-Libre-Writer-Windows-tp4021060p4021069.html To unsubscribe from MS Office MacIntosh to Libre Writer Windows, click here. I have not kept up with this thread, since I am not a Mac person, but I have 2 friends that are and I keep them up on the availability of the new versions. I have been using 3.5.7 till 3.6.4 came out. So would they if they took my advice. Also, this email seemed to have been delayed since you talk about 3.6.4 coming out next week, when it has been out since the 5th or 6th, and I just got this email. -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
