A while ago my server crashed due a power outage and now the qmaster won't
keep running. This is the output from the
/var/spool/gridengine/qmaster/messages file

Hi,
When 2 array jobs are submitted, the gridengine runs the first job and only
after it's done with that it runs the second job. Ii know it's possible to
configure the gridengine in a way that it switches between jobs, so if the
second job is a small one it doesn't have to wait for the first one

I'm sure the script is correct, it always worked on my
1-4200:1
/var/software/packages/Mathematica/7.0/Executables/math -run
teller=$SGE_TASK_ID; ModelCaCO31.m
Hope somebody can fix the problem.

Just be aware, that in this case the job script will be send by SGE to the
execd on the node which stores it in turn on the NFS server (which might

Hi,
I have a server ( Intel Xeon X3210 - 4gb memory ) which controlled serveral
other servers to combine their power for compute purposes.
Therefor the server had some xen vm's:
boot0: dhcp and nfs server so the other servers would get there bootimage
through pxe boot.
login0: so the users
taken into the grid. Are there any guides setting up
these images?
How would you do it? I'm pretty new to setting up hpc environments so i'm
still learning.
