Groovy closure $v
Hi Groovy Users, I am having a bit of trouble understanding some groovy code. I have raised a question in SO here. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/55408982/groovy-closure-v. I came across this when going through compile time meta programming in the reference docs. I would appreciate if anybody on here can point me to some resource where I can better understand why "$v { methodCount }" is needed ? Regards, Arun Menon

My idea, as I've said, is that the large number of Groovy users out there each give a little, so that the small number of people who do the actual work can be supported and Groovy thrives ! An ocean is made of a myriad of tiny droplets - so please spread the word GA-) Cheers, mg
