hello, ive been going through the architecture of kannel (stable release), made a couple of observations,
>Single bearerbox architecture worries me even though internally there is limited internal fault tolerance (heartbeat messages between sms & wapboxes). This is a definite performance bottleneck, also there is no facility to balance load internally although it is has been considered in design. >non persistant message stream, in case of the bearer box crashing, all info through in the message queues might be lost. Is there any way the above issues can be handled in the existing stable release 1.2.x, ? Is anybody working on getting this bottleneck sorted out, if so i have a couple of suggestions and maybe i could help in the development as well, Also, i would just like to know what would the max threshhold limit of simultaneous SMS requests that kannel (stable release 1.2.x) can handle ? thanks Asif __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
