IIRC, I had to install a package to get the intel_panel_fitter program -
not sure if it useful if you don't have Intel graphics.
(I'll have to see if I can rename the HDMI port - my HDTV already has a PC

I use a HDTV for a monitor for my media system. It has the overscan issue,
and I have to run a program to "tweak" the screen resolution to work-around
it. Not where I can pull up the info on how I do it at the moment - will

would like to enable GPU rendering in blender. Have installed nvidia
