I have a machine that I have been upgrading since F25. All of them went
smoothly from F25-F29.
I did the upgrade from F29 to F30 yesterday and it seemed to go OK till
the boot after installing everything.
I guess the naming I am using for my root partition is confusing the
upgrade, although
; was that was causing an issue.just throwing this out

I am getting some pressure from work to upgrade openssl 1.1.0h to
1.1.0.i on my F27 host.
I just updated all packages on my F27 but openssl is still at 1.1.0h in
the Fedora repositories,
Is there any plan to update openssl on F27 or F28 to 1.1.0i ?
It apparently has to do with CVE-2018-0732
I upgraded from F25 to F27 a while ago and everything seems good except
at boot up the rescue kernel is still showing F25. The other three
kernels are all F27 versions.
What's the proper way to get an appropriate F27 rescue kernel instead of
an F25 rescue kernel ?
Thanks
I recently had to sit down and figure this out. Here is my understanding.
The mdns4_minimal will ONLY do a search if the hostname ends in .local.
If the hostname does not end in .local then mdns4_minimal does not make
a search at all and so NOTFFOUND is false because it didn't look for the
file. I did an upgrade
from F25 directly to F27 just to verify and indeed the same issue came
up. So, seems to be something that will need to be done going forward on
every upgrade. sigh... Hope I can remember this one.
Thanks
