If I install any theme using gnome tweak tool, my icons are getting
jumbleb (The application tab) .
It wasn't the issue on Fedora 16. AMD graphics card with Open source
driver , 64 bit Fedora 17.

to experiment,
rebuild it from souce, first with default ./configure, and then try
with differents options until it works as it should

All on a sudden, I can't see any subtitle on smplayer or VLC . Sometimes
embedded subs work under dragon player but that's it.
How to fix this? I've tried every way I know. And yes, I'm
loading/locating the subs (.srt) every time.

Well, I have good news and I have bad news. First the bad:
This thing is a nightmare to package. The whole build process
changing the order of the sound card (Internal, Manhattan,USB
Audio) looked into ALSA Mixer. But I just can't hear anything.
And is there anyway to playback via XINE rather than gstreamer? I'm
running KDE here.

Well, I managed to get an Ubuntu .deb file for the previous version
(unfortunately, I can't find the source anymore). And yes, I've searched
with the usual string (not too deep search though.).
