works with arecord and skype. facebook fails mic; i can hear fine, cant
make a sound. I have queried facebook, no joy. Any ideas?

with fc19 xfce spin installed in 320gb disk.
fc19 sees the old disk and mounts as nonblock device.

I have a 16gb sandisk with 2 pictures on it.
shotwell can see the pictures when I connect my camera to usb port.
Linux cant see the disk when plugged in to a usb adapter. Linux can see
other sandisks in this adapter.

I installed the EmbeddedObject.odt using the
OwnEmbeddedObjectFactory etc.
Instructions say insert-ole object will offer 'simple java text window'
but dialog pops up with spreadsheet, draw, etc and no text window
selecting spreadsheet produces spreadsheet,
when i use the admin datetime wizard it changes the time while givig
error message
failed to synchronize hardware clock.
sometimes reboot keeps the right time, often not.
this is a new computer
i have googled this error message without finding anythin useful
