no mouse or keyboard activity on display magager

I have a problem with booting on fedora 17 x 64
when bootingm grub prints this message

however, when I boot with live CD I can access to all my partitions linux
and windows.

problem with NTFS file system

problem with setting page limit
Dear list I am trying to set a page limitation on F17 to a printer installed on a server with manu system users. At the begginig, things looks easy. If you want a more classic Gnome 2.x interface, you can go to System Settings - Details - Graphics and set Use Fallback Mode to on. It's not exactly the same as classic Gnome, but should be familiar. I would know if it is possible to configure wireless directly through the configuration files in /etc. Which file should I modify. Amarok can also do this. that is my probleme: when the iphone was at version 4.x, rhythmbox used to detect it. now, with version 5.x, thythmbox does not detect it any more. problem with configuring wifi by CL
Hi list I have a probem with configuring wifi using CL on F 15 I have done these steps but I don t succeed to connect to the wireless. I have an iphone that connect to the network when it is near the PC. So I don t know if my CL miss something or it is the power of the signal that is not sufficient to connect. With the graphical interface, it also detects the network but it does not connect. probleme with awk arguments

I have a problem with passing arguments for awk.
I set a variable C as charecter (or string). Then put that variable as
argument for awk.
Unfortuanatly, I go not get the needed result.
For example, in this example, I get the content of the file but I expect it
write g as many lines as file file coran.pls contains

problem with skype at starting on F15
Dear list I have a strange problem with skype. When I login, a huge time of hard disk activity starts on F15 and delay at least 10 minutes during which I can't almost use my laptop. sound problem with easycap
Hi list I have installed easycap driver for fedora 12 http://sourceforge.net/projects/easycapdc60/reviews/ when I open the device with vlc, the video works great but not there is no sound! Can you help please. note : there is no /dev/dsp file in my system VLC is unable to open the MRL 'alsa:///dev/easysnd1'. Look at the README in the tarball:) Install is left to the op, which he hasn't done as his working dir is still in the compilation dir...
