I'm afraid I don't know anything about the Devian Live CD distro -- it's hard
to say exactly what the problem is without knowing more about your setup. But
if "hello world" is failing, it seems to indicate that something is
fundamentally wrong.
Can you try a trivial ping pong app?

I set up a Linux Cluster with differnt Distributions ( 1x Debian Lenny,
