Hello:
Now i know the opennebula can not interact with vcenter through the latest
version of vmware-driver-addon-3.0-beta, Who can tell me when will a new
version be released that enables the management of an OpenNebula cloud based on
VMware ESX, vCenter .
Hi Diego,
I don't think that OpenNebula is likely to be the best tool for the job
in this case, as it is more geared towards on-demand cloud computing.
However, it does sound like you could really benefit from virtualization
in the office. The way I would approach your situation is as follows.

Hi Roger,
It is true that /bin/bash is not installed in every *nix, although it can be
installed and also a symlink can be created. Taking into account that bash
syntax is not completely the same as sh syntax, so I think is not that

Hi Ben.
I appreciate your answer.
I was expecting to be able to install kvm, sshd, and openNebula on the
same hardware. As I would not need to provide many different
technologies.
I think that I would have maybe 4 VM at the same time, but the virtual
processor will be most of the time sleeping.
Hi,
I have to move one.db (which is currently living on an NFS volume,
which is dangerous according to the docs[1]) to a local filesystem
on the head node.
Where do I specify the path to one.db ? The documentation [2]

Hi,
We got stung with this issue as well. Our short term approach was to
create an iscsi mount (i.e. block storage) and put everything in var/
there, and migrate to MySQL when we have a window of downtime.
As far as I can tell there's no way in ONE to specify that the DB
location should be
Thanks for your reply,

I see to move the sqlite database without modifying he source codeis
moving the database to other local place and symlinking it to

Hi Roger,
That looks very reasonable. I've opened a ticket to keep track of the
