Hi everyone,
When I deploy a VM on a host, the CPU usage goes to 100% after one or two
minutes by KVM process. i.e the core that is being used by VM has 100%
usage but the CPU ussage on the VM is normal and because of this, I lose
connection with the VM.
I suspect it is QEMU/KVM settings or a set
Hello everyone,
I have a problem adding host to ONE controller. The controller
is running on a Fedora VM and host is Ubuntu. The controller recognizes the
host but it gives this err at the end which prevents the host to
be introduced to controller's pool:

with my VM. If I do live migration without any workload the VM's
connectivity is fine. Anyone knows what is the problem?

Hi Vivek,
I read the Doc. but my question is if I *do not have any REQUIREMENT
attribute and RANK expression* in VM template and I have for example three
identical hosts in everything how ONE chooses a host for VM?

If in VM's template there is no requirement specification and there are more
than one host to run the VM in them, on what basis ONE chooses a host to
deploy the VM on that? what is the default policy for resource allocation?

Hi,
My ONE seems to work fine except that I cant do Live Migrate. From hosts I
can connect to other hosts virtual manager's console and I can perform
migrate from host's console and also I can perform migrate from front-end.
I did uncomment listen on TCP in libvirtd.conf and changed

Hi to all,
I have created a small cloud finally. front-end and hosts are all Ubuntu
10.04 (KVM virtualisation). I can run VM but when it boots, it assigns an
strange IP despite the MAC address that ONE has given to VM but when I
reboot VM it sets the correct IP. so for every VM I have to reboot it
Ok. Problem was the host. Switched to Ubuntu 10.04 from Opensuse 11.4 and it
is OK.

Hi,
I have implemented a basic Opennebula infrastructure. my front-end is Ubuntu
10.04 and my host is Opensuse 11.4. I am using KVM virtualization.
when I deploy the ttylinux that I got from the website I can ssh to that for

Hi to all,
I am a master student in university of Essex and I am doing my dissertation
on network virtualization in future cloud. I am going to use Opennebula for
my project and implement a test bed with that so I have some question about
software.
