Hello,
I attach a pic with the field where you have to fill the filesystem type.
I’m using “vmdk_thin”.
Thank you!

If you use KVM as the hypervisor, there is a known issue where the I/O
emulation is substantially slowed by the continuous fsync that the installer
performs.
The fastest solution is to apply the property CACHE=UNSAFE to the disk where
windows is installed, and change it later (either deleting
It's not applicable to vmware;

Hello!
I'm new to working with OpenNebula, because when I created the template
in Sunstone, I did not think that, by specifying CONTEXT, the system
will try to boot the VM using it.
And, in my own opinion, forcing CONTEXT be the last CDROM device will
eliminate the situation that I have
That's quite strange, I never found it in my installs. May I suggest to check
if the install media is not damaged or partially downloaded? The best way is to
check its CRC.

Hello Everyone,
I am getting error while hot plugging virtio nic model to VM
One 4.8
Host - Ubuntu 14.04
VM - Windows 2008 R2 (Virtio Drivers already install in the VM)
Fri Aug 22 17:22:41 2014 [Z0][VMM][I]: Command execution fail:
/var/tmp/one/vmm/kvm/attach_nic 'one-15' '02:00:c0:a8:7a:08'
I have checked it and it still does'nt work while hot adding second nic to
the VM it does not get the same IP as shown in Sunstone.

No, I mean that attached nics are not configured by the context
system. You need to do it manually.

Okay, so you mean to say that once the script is copied and executed, I need
to remove context.ps1 from context cd?
If I use a Virtual router in that case I still need to do it manually?

Hey all,
I've been scratching my head against this one for a while, all my VMs
are stuck in a pending mode. I checked sched.log to see why and got this:

Hi.
The Create Virtual Machine window does not render properly on Google chrome on
Red Hat.
I have included a screen capture of the window.
The same window renders correctly on Firefox and on Google Chrome on Windows.
Thanks, Lorraine

All,
I wonder if anyone experienced the same weird error -- VMs shutdown
themselves? (in my environment, after running about 2 minutes)
The VMs from same template/image run well on master zone.
Anyone has any ideas?
Log from sunstone console. (other logs are clean)

Sorry that I missed some important information:
OpenNebula 4.8
Nodes and frontend server are all RHEL7.0
Hypervisor: KVM
Thanks,

I just found that these VMs are running still on the nodes. Its weird
that OpenNebula changed their status to POWEROFF
Sounds like bug of OpenNebula?
