HI all,
I'm planning to develop (in the next months) a new installation based on
OpenSIPS but I'm worried about the maintenance of this installation.
Indeed I don't know what is the future of the 1.6.x version of opensips
and when it will be replaced totally by the coming 2.0.
Could I know what
Hi,
Do you have any experience in this?
Thx,
Maciej.

Your questions are related more to the memcache rather than the opensips

Hello!
Sorry if my questions already appeared in mail list but
1) If I don`t use timeout in cache_store func. then record in cache will
live “forever” ?
2) If I try to cache_store attribute which already has record in cache
then this attribute will be rewritten?
Thank you

Hi Jeff,
No, there isn't now a way to get in the script the received and
generated callid. But we could implement this, maybe by starting a list
of pseudovariables exported by the b2b modules and the first ones to be
- new callid, new from tag.

Hi John,
That looks very bad...
Please help me investigate this.
What you can do is to compile with memory debugging support - in
Makefile.defs search -DDBG_QM_MALLOC line, uncomment it, move it above
-DF_MALLOC line and comment this line with -DF_MALLOC. Then recompile
and reinstall all. Als

Does anyone have a el file for emacs to help with tabs and other such
critters in opensips configs?
The best that I have been able to get so far is
mode:bash; tab-width:4; c-basic-offset:4; c-indent-level:4;
indent-tabs-mode:nil;
This is not ideal and I was hoping for something slightly better
Hello Anca,
Sorry, the memory leak is still here:

BTW, dialog module was not used in my script. I've removed loadmodule before
update.
