Hello,
I have a situation where my Bye requests are being flagged as invalid.
What is occurring is that the Bye request is being sent, it is part of a
dialog but it is non loose-route. I am not sure how to fix this. The "To
User" is a valid SIP user but not registered, so I sent the invite to
OK think I found the problem in my opensips.cfg. Ignore this post.

Hi Razvan!
Maybe there has been a misundersanting. That crash occured when running
some automated testing using SIPUnit and a Java based mock for the RTP
media proxy.
Did I get your question right or are you talking about OpenSIPS module
rtpproxy? If so, I was not aware we could update a specific
Hi, Mariana!
It seems you are using a very old version of rtpproxy. I can't even find
some of the functions valgrind is indicating in output. Therefore I
advise you to upgrade at least to the latest version of 1.8 and check if
you still encounter the problem.

Hello,
Seems the disable_gruu parameter was only added in >= 1.9.x .
Attached is a patch that adds the 'disabled_gruu' parameter in 1.8 as well.

Hi,
I have OpenSIPS 1.8 running with Postgresql 9.1. I would like to restrict

I have successfully been able to add users and grant them access to the

Hello Chris,
Load the localcache module and use the cache functions to store / fetch
keys in the cache (

Build the name of the keys based on the nonce, so that you name is nonce

Hello Adrian,
From resources point of view, this is how I see things :
1) media - the node which is contacted by user (via DNS) should take
care of the media (unrelated to registration)
2) registration - you can do it on the access node (used by user to
access the service), or you can use so

Hi all,
I downloaded the virtual machine version of opensips 1.7 and when I try to
add some rules to the dialplan using the control panel I'm not able to save
any regular expression. All the time the regular expression tab is empty.
I looked at the error.log and this is the output:

Hello Brett,
A SIP capture from the OpenSIPS machine covering both sides traffic will

Hello Craig,
I see you use GRUU for callee and caller and each device uses as contact
(in INVITE and 200 OK) the GRUU URI (I guess obtained as a result of
registration ) - I guess the devices do register with OpenSIPS, right ?
Now, when you have GRUU, for sequential requests you also need to

Hello all!
We are running a suite of automated tests using Opensips 1.8.1.
Once in a while, we get this crash, apparently related to a call where we
have to update Session Timers. To try to get more info, we did this:

Hello Chris,
The INVITE (2) is not a re-INVITE, but an initial INVITE - it does not
belong to the same dialog as INVITE (1).
Considering that they are 2 different initial requests, based on DNS
lookup, it is impossible to force their routing to the same back server

Hello Cleiton,
It seems the modules are not loaded (so exported functions not found in
script) - check the mpath variable you in script to match the location
where your OpenSIPS modules were installed.
