I have the same problem. I am using dovecot 1.2.6 on Fedora 11 x86_64,
typically with Firefox 3.5. I already have caching disabled in
main.inc.php, and I only ever see Roundcube show new messages if I manually
refresh the window or click on Inbox. This used to work fine before 0.3.

Seems that dovecot 1.0.x users have this issue.

Not I am aware of. But my system only has a very low load because of
only a few users using it. I guess the impact will be a performance drop
off on systems with a high load.
I have the same problem. Not a huge problem but RC has never acted like
this before and should not act like this now.

Don't know about the latest trunk, but SVN 3027 and 3031 both do this as
well.

It's the latest available (not stable) release...
It includes all latest bugfixes, enhancements and so on BEFORE a general new
release package (like 0.3.1) is finished.

I agree but did you also check the latest trunk version if that problem
still exists?

I will try that but I still think this is a huge functionality bug.

Hi Carlos,
I'm seeing almost the same behavior... do the new messages appear after you
hit "F5" in your browser? That does it for me.
But I agree, it is a strange behavior which didn't occur to me in 0.2.x,
only since 0.3. Maybe there has been a bugfix in the coming release 0.3.1 ?
