I think you need to upgrade your java software or probably just point it to
the correct path (JAVA_HOME).

That is weird - not supposed to happen at all. The ,v files are the
physical cvs repository
I do not think you can access the embedded derby db while continuum (or any
other application) is using it. You would have to shut down continuum and
then connect derby using a sql client like squirrel sql or install derby and
use its client to connect. as mentioned in this post:
The only thing that worked for me (I tried a LOT of diff things) was to
shutdown continuum ( I used pkill - ps kill) and then go into the database
and remove the project from the table. You would need to log in to derby as
the sa user.

on the build-now link to build. Otherwise a build would never happen.
