Child POM inherit reporting configurtaion from parent POM?

I have javadoc reporting configuration in a PARENT POM an it looks like this: reporting plugins plugin groupIdorg.apache.maven.plugins/groupId artifactIdmaven-javadoc-plugin/artifactId
