We have experienced this problem also. Which version of JPA are you targeting? I did establish connection with MySQL server In the Services tab and I can see my tables and can run queries against them. When I am doing New->Persistance->Entity Classes from DB, Netbeans does display me a popup frame In which I select a connection, but the list of tables is empty and I can’t figure why.
