Hi Joe,
we recently had a similar problem. For us it turned out that we are using
the latest open-jdk8 which no longer is providing the JCE policies required
for strong cryptography out of the box on cents 7.3.

Georg

After restarting my NiFi host no longer the NiFi web interface will start.

a curl to localhost: will return an empty response.
What else can I try?
The logs do not show any errors.

Hi,
Similar to
https://pierrevillard.com/2016/03/13/get-data-from-dropbox-using-apache-nifi/ I
want to perform an multipart file upload via HTTP to another restful API.
Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to
- send multipart form data with the POST-HTTP or INVOKE-HTTP processors
- data should

I think we found a solution. I am not exactly sure what has helped but
renewing kerberos tokens seems to have done the trick.

Hi
In production I observe problems with ticket renewal for the nifi hive
processor.
A workaround is to restart the hive service but that doesn't seem right.
Is there a real fix for this problem?

Hi
Can I use the new nifi registry to promote / move my nifi flows between
environments?
To me it currently looks like I can only click around in a single
environment and then follow up / diff the changes over time via the
registry.
Also can the registry integrate with git?

Using NiFi for batch RDBMS imports into Hadoop I wonder if it is the right
tool and i.e. if a scoop job scheduled via Ozzie might be simpler regarding
error handling.
Ozzie simply will list all failed task and automatically retry a couple of
times.
Is something like this (logically see that some
How can I modularize and reuse parts of my nifi flows?
I.e. Have a shared logging and error handling strategy which can be
centrally configureed for all processor groups.

Hi,
how can I support dynamic XPath queries in NiFi?
http://apache-nifi.1125220.n5.nabble.com/Expression-language-support-in-EvaluateXPath-td18041.html
states
that due to performance wifi expression language is not supported for
dynamic x-path queries. Has there been any progress regarding this?
