Hi Bruce, On Windows 7 the user-defined templates are in: C:\Users\<user-name>\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice.org\3\user\template The pre-installed templates are in C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenOffice.org 3\Basis\share\template\<locale> This may vary a bit depending on Windows configuration options and whether the user overrode the default directory when installing. Note that the AppData directory is hidden in a default installation of Windows. I know nothing about the Mac, unfortunately. Maybe someone else can chime in on that part of your question. In most cases it is best to add/remove templates from the UI rather than via the file system You can get to the "Template Organizer" via File/Templates/Organize.
