Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, Ich arbeite seit längerer Zeit unter Windows 8.1 mit OpenOffice 4.1.0, jedoch nur Text- und Tabellenanwendung. Zur Zeit möchte ich eine Datenbank in OpenOffice anlegen, bekomme aber immer die Fehlermeldung, dass ein Java-Runtime-Environment nicht installiert

Sir: I had an argument with a technician at HP Last month. She claimed that I will be charged for Open Office after one year of use. I disagreed with her. Is there any truth in this? I would also like to see an upgrade in the user manual. Any possabilities? I will consider a donation if I knew

Apache OpenOffice is free forever, you can get updates for free, extensions are free to install and is free for all platforms (OSX, Windows, Linux). There are donations which you are more than welcome to contribute, and there are professional support services that will charge you for their time,
