Hello, It has been brought to my attention that i did not post my question the way it should be done. I am sorry if i caused any confusion or worse. I am new to this, so i hope i do it right this time. My question is about searching for a situation where in two columns in the same row the

Re: [libreoffice-users] Is there a way for a Basic macro to detect what application is running it?

2014-10-20 Thread Cley Faye
Quickly looking through the (not very user friendly) help for LibreOffice Basic, the closest thing I found is GetSolarVersion, but that's probably not enough. While checking if the type is a struct can be a good workaround, it's not completely future-proof; there is a need for a function to

Intermittent problem with RTF files

2014-10-20 Thread Jonathan
I recently saved an RTF file, and after I saved the file it was corrupted completely. As far as I can tell, the problem is intermittent and I know of no way to reproduce it consistently. How can I determine if this is the same issue that was reported earlier as bug #68343

I see this is the correct way of doing things. If you did the following try doing /opt/openoffice4/program/soffice (in the terminal) This should start your OpenOffice, please confirm. On 10/20/14, Rory O'Farrell ofarr...@iol.ie wrote: On Mon, 20 Oct 2014 07:45:41 +0100 Rory O'Farrell

problem with spellcheck on Open Office 4.1.1

I recently download this update. Now all my documents, new and from previous versions, show up with all text underlined in red (as if it is miss-spelled). When I go to spell check, (and my language selection is correct) it challenges every single word. Every one of them. What is the problem? And,
