Hi Karen— Here’s what you do: 1. Click on an incon for the file type you want to always open with AOO while simultaneously holding down the Control key. 2. Release the Control key and hover the cursor over ‘Open With’ 3. Hold down the Option key; ‘Open With’ will change to ‘Always Open With’.

How can I delete a text document I do not want listed on my folder icon in Open Office? Sometimes I write a text or letter whichever you want to call it and do not need to keep it anymore. I see no delete option. Please advise?Kathleen Quinlan
