Christine - I don't remember Windows Vista very well, but if you right-click on one of your documents, do you see something about choosing the default program to open them with? If so, you can tell it to use your new OpenOffice and that will then apply to all of your documents. (Please do

Christine, sorry for the difficulty. The documents are probably just fine and some settings in your computer system need to be adjusted for you to find them again. Installing Apache OpenOffice 4.1.1 does not touch user documents at all. First, what is the Operating System on your Computer?
