Hello, Yes, I have used End Task in Task Manager to quit OpenOffice and then restarted  Windows 11. There was no change in the behavior of OpenOffice after the restart. I downloaded OpenOffice from the web, uninstalled OpenOffice and re-installed OpenOffice. Everything is back to "normal

Is there a way to open an excel file that has been password protected. I no longer have Excel so I can't remove the password that way. When I try to open the file in Spreadsheet it opens up a filter selection box. I have chosen several of the excel formats but nothing seems to work. Thanks

Hello, Using OpenOffice 4.1.12 on a new Windows 11 PC. I had running on my Thunderbird mail client, my FireFox browser and OpenOffice adding data to a spreadsheet. Stepped away from my PC and when I returned Thunderbird, FireFox and OpenOffice were not running, Windows 11 was. Restarted
