Hi there. I've been hoping OpenOffice adds the feature of creating
keystroke shortcuts for special characters to be inserted, rather than
using the menu to insert special characters. On my old versions of
Office, I could create a keystroke combination to associate with a
particular symbol, because I used the symbol so much. I can't access
the functionality on the current version of Office that I have, but I
downloaded OpenOffice specifically to have access to this feature,
because I assumed it was part of the program. It would be a really
useful feature!
