Hi there,

I am using Open Office Apps on OSX.
Might upgrade but for now the newest version working with my OSX 10.6 is OO
4.01.

Now I am looking for solutions that let me translate documents while
maintaining the layout and typographical settings.
So to say an integrated solution e.g. via an extension that links translation
resources to any OO file.

If you could advise me in 5-10 steps what exactly to do, I would not have to
experiment …

I read sth about solutions that enable a translation with the help of Google
Translator.

Now my questions:

- which solution works fine with the OSX OO 4.01 version ?
- which extensions exactly do I need to be able to translate within an OO
document ?

The thing is, I could create one RTF file of my document file and then have it
translated, copypasted back into Open Office. But then, there would be some
layout work to do plus from experience also some manual corrections at the
translation.

Do you have to suggest anything that works ?

Thankyou for your feedback !
