Yes.
And, although I think you only wanted a yes or now, in case I was wrong
I did a quick test. Either select the cell (or the text of interest) and click
on the A in the toolbar with a colored line under it. You can change the color
with the drop down on that icon as well.
Can the font color be changed in different cells of a spreadsheet?
I cannot locate anything that indicates that it can.
