hello there. Have just bought my wife a new Acer laptop, pre-loaded with 
Vista Home Premium. I downloaded OpenOffice 2.2.1 yesterday, but Windows 
refuses to recognize the file format. Is this due to Vista having a 
different OS than XP ( I use 2.2.1 without problems om my PC with 
XP/SP2) ? Or can somebody please explain how I can get the laptop to 
load and run 2.2.1 ?
