Hello, A few months back I ordered Openoffice 2.2 CDrom.Instead of burning CDs myself for distributing to friends, I ordered 3 CDs as some sort of contribution to your work. Due to my busy schedule, I haven't installed it yet, as I am using something else in the meantime. Openoffice 2.2 said it required installing first the XII utility that came with my Mac 10.4.9.
However, I have since upgraded to OS 10.4.10, and you to Openoffice 2.2.1. Is there any chance that these two combined could waive the need for the XII utility? I think I read somewhere that the time would come when XII would not be necessary since it would be integrated, or something of that nature. Mind you, that would be nice since I am no wizz at this. I tried to find the answer to this on the web, but I lack the time to go through so much chat before I strike the right answer, should there be one there for me. Thanks!
