cannot type in color. went to tools-options-accessibilty
unchecked auto color.i even rebooted. when i drop down
the color chart i see the automatic is highlighted.above that
it says font color, i tried clicking on that still prints black.

I tested this myself and got the same results - although the icon color
changed for font color, my typing was in black. I was able to highlight
text and click on the icon, and the text changed color, but this seems like
an unworkable solution.

On going back to my document, I turned off the color icon by clicking it,
but my type remained the alternate color I had chosen. I was not able to go
back to black type until I again highlighted the text and clicked on black.
